  2. Southern Connecticut State University – Engelman & Earl Halls

In the first of four collaborations with SCSU since late 2017, Diversity Construction Group was chosen to manage the acoustical upgrades in the school’s music department. “Engleman” is home to a large-scale auditorium used for lectures and events while “Earl” has gallery space with practice rooms for use by the art and music departments.

Work on the spaces required – but were not limited to – the removal and provision of interior doors and frames, the alteration of interior partitions and the installation of sound absorbing and dissipating panels on walls and suspended ceilings.

Work began in the winter of 2017 and was completed in the summer of 2018.
