  2. Hamden High School STEM Academy Renovations

The national educational emphasis on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) helped bring Diversity Construction and Christopher Williams Architects together for a third project after two collaborations at nearby Southern Connecticut State University. The successful completion of this $327,000 endeavor involved converting the school’s existing auto shop and adjacent classroom into a machine shop with a CAD / drafting classroom. Featured work included new glass doors with sidelights, MEP modifications, new partitions and finishes and other interior improvements. Work began in November 2019 and was completed in March 2020.
