Legislators approve $3.6 million grant in Vinal Tech
MIDDLETOWN >> Democratic state Sen. Paul Doyle and Danté Bartolomeo joined Gov. Dannel P. Malloy last week to announce an investment in Vinal Technical High School in Middletown. Cheshire council awards $697,000 contract for locker room project
CHESHIRE >> A local construction company has been awarded a $697,000 contract to upgrade locker rooms at Cheshire High School. The Town Council voted 7-2 Tuesday to award the contract to Diversity Construction Group, located at 531 Cortland Circle. . --> Read More
Diversity Construction Group won bid to perform code renovation updates to over 10,000 square feet of this school’s facility. This was part of Winchester 2011 to 2013 School Improvement Plan. Construction began in October 2013 and will be completed in January 2014.
Historic 76 year-old Boyle Stadium has been restored to the way the original stadium was built. Started in 1935 during the depression and completed in 1937, Boyle’s Stadium is a significant landmark in City of Stamford. Diversity Construction Group performed superior masonry restoration to the polygonal-cut, rock-faced granite walls, built new bathrooms, demolished old press-box, and constructed a new press-box on the west side of the stadium. DCG also added handicap access and replaced doors and hardware. The project began in April 2013 and was substantially completed in December 2013.
Elmwood Community Center, West Hartford Connecticut

"Where City Style Meets Village Charm", is Elmwood Community Center's insignia. DCG kept this in mind as they beautifully upgraded this multipurpose facility.
Handicap Accessibility was high on the list as an "Area of Refuge System" was installed in the stairwell. The work also included bathroom and hardware upgrades. The Result: Both client and residents alike were overwhelming pleased with the results.
Whiton Memorial Branch Library, Manchester Connecticut
News Alert – “Whiton Memorial Branch Library scheduled for ADA Renovations”
Diversity Construction Group has won coveted contract to perform ADA Renovations to Whiton Memorial Branch Library. Upgrades will include the addition of a new elevator, installing a handicap ramp in the basement and renovating bathrooms.
DCG is excited to be partnering with the Town of Manchester on this project! Work is scheduled to begin in March 2014 and be completed in Summer 2014.
Solid Waste Division Office Building, Stamford Connecticut
News Alert- “Recycling and Waste Disposal Center gets Impressive Update”
Diversity Construction Group is once again working with the City of Stamford. This time DCG has been selected to provide code compliance upgrades and building improvements to the solid Waste Division Office Building.
Renovations will include building new locker and shower rooms, building a new kitchenette and performing masonry repointing.
Renovations are scheduled to begin Summer 2014.
Bethel Public Library, Bethel Connecticut

Built in 1909, the Bethel Public Library encompasses approximately 13,000 square feet.
Renovating this century old building required Class 5 Finish to restore the classic interior, and breathe new life into each distinctive space. A total of 9 colors were intricately and skillfully applied to access walls, seamlessly complimenting the beauty and architecture of this landmark.
Town of Canterbury, Canterbury Connecticut
News Alert- "DCG Awarded Contract to Reconstruct Baseball Field and Soccer Field"
Diversity Construction Group, (DCG) has been selected to perform renovations to the Soccer and Baseball Fields at Robert Manship Park in Canterbury Connecticut.
Renovations to the baseball field will include earthwork, fencing (metal and wood), field equipment, dugouts, backstop and stone dust track.
Renovations to the soccer field will include earthwork, re-grading and repairing concrete drywalls, as well as wood fencing.
Repairs are scheduled to begin early spring and end early summer.
